The shape-based keyboard uses predefined shapes (circle, curve, line, triangle, square, cross) to represent letters. Each shape corresponds to a set of letters (both uppercase and lowercase). When you press one or more shapes, the system generates all possible letter combinations based on those shapes. The system then compares the generated combinations to a list of valid words. If a match is found, it will be displayed in the text box.
