Abidul Are we Forced or do we have a Free Will
The eternal discussion of whether we’re destined to or do we choose!
I’ve been watching this awesome tv show about time traveling, its called Travelers (which to be honest has a very similar concept to an awesome anime series called: Steins;Gate). Anywho, I’ve really enjoyed the philosophy it brings. they’re presenting the idea where someone would transfer consciousness and knowledge using current technology into someone else’s body (let’s pause the argument of spirits here for the sake of the discussion). But, one would start thinking (again) about how time traveling would be, and what would be the consequences of mixing Time and Space. But, one very interesting question popped in my head is:
If you believe time traveling is possible, do you still believe that you have a free will?Lemme explain myself better, lets say you go back in time and you can see your 10-years older self in-front of you trying to make a decision on which field he’s going to commit and continue his life dedicated to. now even though you know the answer already, you know that he thinks he’s making a decision.
Now would you call that free will?
